About

The UAFS Student Nurses Association (SNA) is a voluntary organization committed to fostering the professional development of nursing students. Membership in a professional organization is an expectation of the nursing profession and is vital in promoting a nurse’s career.

SNA is a constituent of the Arkansas Nursing Students Association, Inc., and the National Student Nurses Association, Inc. Membership is open to students enrolled in a UAFS program leading to licensure as a Registered Nurse. Other member benefits include access to the professional magazine for student nurses, discounts on study tools and conference registration fees, professional networking, and future career projects.

As UAFS continues to have a positive impact on addressing the national nursing shortage, we are raising money to offer scholarships aimed at reducing financial barriers some SNA members face to attend the national conference and become better nurses for communities around the country.
