About

Applause is an award-winning student-run literary journal housed in the UAFS Department of English, Rhetoric and Writing, and Media Communications. We’ve been publishing stellar creative writing and visual art from undergraduates for over 40 years. We are a proud Southern Literary Festival Association (SLFA) member, and the funds raised by this campaign will be used to cover our SLFA dues. Additionally, the funds will be used to cover travel costs for our student staff to attend the 2025 Southern Literary Festival and to promote the magazine so that Applause may reach as many readers and writers as possible!
