By giving to UAFS golf, you’ll help our student-athletes understand their swings, make more informed club selections and get more from each practice with a new QuadMAX launch monitor.
This portable device provides immediate feedback on each shot, showing players how far the ball travels and how their swing affects its direction across weather conditions and geographic elevations. Your gift will make this important information readily available during practice at home and preparations on the road, all with a rapid set up that can go anywhere.
“It’ll tell you why you’re missing the ball left. It’ll tell you more than just a number,” said Daniel Hayden, head men’s and women’s golf coach. “But the person hitting the shot will be like, ‘Okay, I need to change this on my golf swing right off the bat.’ So instead of having to go all the way back home for a lesson, their lesson is right there on that screen.”
Hayden says the result of seeing swing data with a 94% accuracy is transformative. “It’s what we call in coaching a light bulb moment."
The monitor will also expand indoor practice capacity, allowing more student-athletes to train when the weather keeps them off the course.
