The Applause Literary Magazine project supports the student-led publication that showcases creative work while providing hands-on experience in editing, design and literary publishing.
UAFS students manage every stage of production, building practical skills that prepare them for careers in writing, publishing and the arts. Funds raised through this project support production costs and will allow the magazine to return to print after operating as an online-only publication since 2020.
Your support also helps student editors attend the annual Southern Literary Festival, where they connect with writers, editors and publishers from across the region. Gifts to this project ensure students continue gaining the experience and professional connections that make Applause possible.
DAY OF GIVING DONATION LEVELS
- Any Donation: You'll receive a Thank You! on the Applause Website!
- $10: Get a bookmark and sticker as a thank you from us.
- $15: Get a back issue of the magazine, a bookmark, and a sticker as a thank you from us.
- $25: The first 25 will get the new issue of the magazine, a bookmark, and a sticker as a thank you from us.
- $30: The first 25 will get the new issue of the magazine, a back issue, a bookmark, and a sticker as a thank you from us.
- $50+ Your name published on the website and in the next issue as a Patron. The first 25 will also get the new issue of the magazine, a back issue, a bookmark, and a sticker as a thank you from us.
- If we raise $1500, our faculty advisor will take a pie in the face and post it to our social media.
- If we exceed our $2000 goal, our faculty advisor will dye his hair UAFS blue and post it to our social media.
